This natural styling method is designed to promote healthy hair and offers a versatile and manageable alternative to other locking methods. Proper maintenance is crucial for keeping SISTERLOCKS neat and healthy. Regular retightening sessions are needed to maintain the integrity of the locs.
One of the advantages of SISTERLOCKS is their versatility. The small size allows for a range of styling options, from updos to free-flowing styles.
The SISTERLOCKS journey starts with a consultation. There are different locking patterns; your All N One team will provide you with the locking pattern that best suits your hair.

The consultation is an opportunity to answer questions about the Sisterlocks lifestyle. Sisterlocks is a hair care management system, unlike any other type of haircut or style. We will discuss your unique hair characteristics and offer personalized recommendations. You are welcome to view our extensive portfolio as visual inspiration for your next steps. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge needed to make your Sisterlocks journey seamless and rewarding.

The Sisterlocks installation is a meticulous and artistic process. Each strand of hair is individually handled, creating small, uniform, and versatile locks. This technique involves precision parting and a grid pattern unique to Sisterlocks. The result is a beautiful and sustainable natural hairstyle that reflects your unique personality and showcases the beauty of your natural hair texture. The installation can take several hours and be spread over a two or three days. Your consultant will be able estimate the time needed during your consultation.
Individual installation time varies.
To sustain the original beauty of your Sisterlocks, routine maintenance is recommended every 4-6 weeks. Maintenance involves retightening and grooming: this meticulous process ensures neat, well-defined locks.
We get it, life gets busy! Extended maintenance is required when you exceed the recommended 4 to 6 week window. After 7 weeks, additional grooming and repairs may be needed. Please be mindful that prices increase as the maintenance time increases. In rare situations, when clients have missed more than 1 scheduled maintenance appointment, they risk losing locks and damaging the integrity of their locks.
Please allow a minimum of 3 hours for thorough maintenance.
Tight schedule? For added convenience, In-home maintenance services are available for an additional fee. We service most locations around the DMV area. Advance notice is required.
